Manufacturing Processes Duties
- Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
- Develops and implements manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods, equipment, and new technologies; conferring with equipment vendors.
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods and control systems; testing finished-product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes; yielding in maximum efficiency.
- Assist in identifying and implementing corrective action for nonconforming parts.
- Manage overall project management for the team.
- Programming of machine and measuring equipment; investigating programming equipment failures; diagnosing faulty operations; providing solutions.
- Proactively analyze, identify, and enact procedures and/or processes to resolve production problems and/or minimize cost.
- Design of Manufacturing Equipment Fixturing, Tooling, and Gauging Design. Machine Programming, Quality Engineering process design, and implementation. Customer Blue-Print interpretation and internal print design and creation.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

- Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineer
