Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Assembler in Ladson .
Responsibilities Of a Assembler Includes
Main Responsibilities:
- Disassemble lawn mower parts, including smaller components such as nuts and bolts.
- Wear the applicable PPE (steel-toe shoes), adhere to all warehouse safety rules, quality standards, procedures, and employee expectations.
- Properly remove the lawn mower and packaging from the box without damaging product.
- Follow instructions on identifying the bolt that needs to be replaced, safely removing the bolt from the lawn mower and then replacing with the correct bolt.
- Use a variety of hand tools to remove and replace nuts and bolts.
- Visually check mower components for damage and set aside for further instruction.
- After completing rework process, repack lawn mower in the box with the applicable packaging materials.
- Complete daily housekeeping tasks (ex: clean as you go and end of day routine) to ensure a clean and safe work area.
- Perform additional work-related tasks as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience in a manufacturing setting working as an operator, assembler, or disassembler (preferred).
- Must be able to read and follow work instructions to disassemble products correctly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
