The Director of Sales, Auto Credit (DOS) is responsible for leading and managing a team of full-cycle Account Executives (both inside and outside sales) whose responsibilities involve selling Auto Credit and Compliance Solutions to Automotive Dealerships. The DOS will ensure its assigned team drives maximum growth and profitability by capturing new accounts at the highest possible margins.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a Team of Account Executives (AE), including hiring, training, and day-to-day management, to ensure the Team performs at expected performance standards
- Maintain a detailed understanding of products and services to train and assist the AE Team with customers and their questions, in addition to supporting the AE Team with how to sell the NCC best
- Credit and Compliance product offering that meets the prospect's needs
- Oversees the territory assignments of prospect accounts to the AE team
- Determine accurate account segmentation to assist the AE team in exceeding monthly consistently
- revenue goals, achieving KPIs, and maintaining an active pipeline
- Work with Sales Management to determine the correct KPIs and prospect penetration
- Work with the Vice President of Sales Operations & Marketing Manager on sales campaigns
- Ensure AEs are receiving monthly reviews and coaching
- Ensure the assigned AE team understands the value of the NCC Credit and Compliance products and how to position them to maximize performance
- Performs personnel actions, including performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates for employment; supervises the daily activities of the assigned team. Such activities include but are not limited to effective delegation of assignments, developing work schedules, and providing necessary training
- Minimum of 3 years managing a team of AE’s responsible for B2B commodity sales of at least (8) eight individuals
- Minimum (5) five years of experience in a sales role
- Experience managing remote inside and outside sales teams
- Automotive Dealership Experience, preferably in the F&I space
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel on an as needed basis
