Kaimetrix is seeking a Project Manager to join our team based in the Washington DC Metro area. The Project Manager will lead large, complex support services projects, demonstrating a proven ability to independently initiate, lead, and manage multiple simultaneous projects and senior-level personnel. The primary goal of this role is to meet strategic goals, ensuring the highest quality and timely deliverables. This role requires experience in full lifecycle project management, including project planning, risk identification and mitigation, and cost estimation and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple complex support service projects and a team of senior personnel to achieve strategic objectives
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of projects, including planning, risk assessment, cost estimation, and performance monitoring
  • Ensure task order performance and the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of submitted deliverables
  • Collaborate with leadership to align project milestones and deliverables with mission goals
  • Confer regularly with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and task monitors regarding the status of activities, issues, or conflicts needing resolution
  • Participate as needed in task completion to support project requirements
  • Maintain working knowledge of federal grant-making policies, procedures, and administration
  • Prepare and submit deliverables in line with project standards and requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eight (8) years of professional experience in planning, conducting, and managing large support services projects, as described in the performance requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Project or Program Management, or a related discipline
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired
  • US Citizen,
  • Current or Previous DOJ experience

Substitution Criteria:

  • Ten (10) years of relevant experience in project management with demonstrated success in planning and managing large-scale projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy, Project or Program Management, or a related discipline
  • PMP certification is required

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Working knowledge of federal grant-making processes and policies
