About Our Client:

Our client, a notable private equity firm, seeks a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a key portfolio company within the healthcare sector. This pivotal role is instrumental in steering financial strategy, enhancing operational efficiencies, and driving long-term growth in a rapidly evolving industry.

Position Overview:

The CFO will lead the financial and strategic direction of the company, leveraging deep healthcare industry knowledge to manage financial operations, optimize performance, and drive strategic initiatives. This role requires a proactive leader experienced in navigating the complexities of a PE-backed healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and align financial strategies with the company’s business goals in the healthcare sector.
• Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and healthcare regulatory mandates.
• Provide strategic guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and expansion opportunities.
• Optimize financial health through effective cash flow management, working capital improvements, and capital structure adjustments.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial systems.
• Partner with the executive team to enhance operational efficiencies and profitability.
• Lead business development and expansion initiatives within the healthcare market.
• Deliver accurate, timely financial reports to key stakeholders, including private equity sponsors.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience in financial leadership roles within the healthcare industry.
• Successful track record as a CFO or similar senior financial role in a PE-backed environment.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare industry’s operational and market dynamics.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Location and Travel Expectations:

• Candidates must be based in the NYC metro area.
• Willingness to travel 25-40% monthly for site visits and meetings with stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive base salary ranging from $275,000 to $325,000 per year, based on experience.
