Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Breeder Technician to join our Insourcing Solutions team, located in Cambridge, MA.
As the Breeder Technician, you will conduct breeding activities and provide colony management to ensure appropriate production levels are met.

The pay range for this position is $31.00 to 34.00 USD per hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Breeder Technician to join our Insourcing Solutions team, located in Cambridge, MA.
As the Breeder Technician, you will conduct breeding activities and provide colony management to ensure appropriate production levels are met.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Perform animal husbandry duties to maintain quality and health of research animals, which includes, but not limited to performing cage changing and/or cage cleaning as required; report animal health concerns per SOP and/or specified protocols, organize and manage supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of animal breeding, health, weaning schedule, and pedigree.
- Assist in weaning, monitoring colony population and breeding, tissue sampling, ear tagging.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and 2 years of directly related work experience in laboratory animal husbandry and technical skills as detailed above, OR
- Bachelor of Science degree in a Life Science discipline, OR CVT/LVT/RVT certification and 1 year directly related work experience in laboratory animal husbandry and technical skills
- ALAT certification preferred
