Our team is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced sales or business development person that has experience selling and developing business in the Environmental marketplace. The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years of successful selling and managing clients/accounts in the US and Canada. Focus on this industrial marketplace is a requirement. We seek a team player with energy, enthusiasm and a desire to grow and learn along with AnalytiChem.

What you will do:

This is a replacement role for an associate that moved to another role. You will be responsible for managing existing clients and growing new business thru development of expansion or totally new accounts. Your efforts will be support by an internal team from customer experience & Inside sales plus marketing outreach campaigns. You will also lead our regional initiatives within the environmental customer segment and manage for NA a few strategic accounts. You will report to the Director of Sales for the Americas.

  • Optimize and deliver AnalytiChem’s value proposition within the customers’ specific applications.
  • Implement a prioritized business development strategy, aligning with market trends, technological advancements, and operational objectives.
  • Maximize company growth & profitability.
  • Provide customer-focused technical sales support for the environmental or Petrochemical segments.
  • Engage in direct customer interactions, including presentations and technical discussions.
  • Build and Manage pipeline, driving project lifecycles and ensuring successful closure.

Your main skills:

Successful at managing business and closing deals that results in increased revenue and profitability for our NA portfolio. Analysis of data and presentation skills are highly desire to be successful within the business and amongst the team. Positive and high energy are desired as well as working well amongst a metrics environment.

  • General knowledge of procurement concepts, understanding customers’ buying patterns and offering solutions that meet their needs and our capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through collaboration.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM program(s).
  • Uphold unimpeachable ethics and exhibit effective communication/people skills across diverse cultures, both in-person and via phone/email.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences or business; equivalent experience considered within the industrial space.
  • 5-7+ years’ experience in business development within the Industrial/science space.
  • Possess strong business development acumen, with knowledge and experience of consultative selling principles and key account management.
  • Effectively relay experiences, facts, and strategies to colleagues in the business development group, fostering mentorship and knowledge sharing.
  • Communicate technical solutions effectively, bridging the gap between engineering expertise and customer needs.
  • Acquire and develop market, industry, and application-specific expertise to drive informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving abilities, recommending and implementing effective solutions.
  • Valid passport and US driver’s license
