Job Description

Purpose:

Primarily responsible for accurate processing of reports and reconciliation activities after case completion within

the specified timeframes to ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory guidelines providing and to

support effective oversight of external providers of Pharmacovigilance services for AbbVie.

Responsibilities:

  • Running Daily Query Reports for external providers of PV and Abbvie (including, but not limited to:
  • Document Management Option (DMO), Electronic Case Registration (ECR) and Co-marketer reports), as well as daily, weekly and monthly Enhanced Humira PV reports.
  • Performing Quality Review of external provider’s reconciliation tasks for Clinical and Post marketing (Medical Information, Product Complaints and third-party vendor) cases.
  • Clearly and succinctly communicates information to customers verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Utilizes judgement skills to identify issues that impact the workflow.
  • Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
  • Identifies gaps and areas that need improvement and communicates and/or implements
  • recommendations/changes.
  • Performing tasks outside one’s own area of responsibility to help with departmental needs.
  • Effectively prioritizes and manages own time to complete assigned tasks.
  • Performing quality review of external providers' reconciliation tasks for clinical and post-marketing (medical information, product complaints, and third-party vendor) cases
  • Mailbox management, including overseeing of shared mailbox activities
  • Contribute input for key documents: Knowledge Zone Articles, PV Guidelines, and SOPs
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for the new vendors, including setting up accounts and ensuring compliance with company policies

This role can be remote in the United States.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required. Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year of similar work experience.
  • Excellent computer and keyboarding skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook (or
  • equivalent email system).
  • Prior experience and familiarity with computer databases.
  • Superior attention to detail, quality, accuracy and timelines.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task.
  • Strong adaptability to switching tasks to meet business needs.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well the ability to work collaboratively
  • and effectively within a team.
  • Fast learner of technical and process skills/knowledge.
  • Effective verbal and written skills.
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
  • Prior experience in a regulatory/medical setting preferred.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.   • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
