Job Title: Data Analyst/BI Developer

Job Summary:
As the Data Analyst/BI Developer, you will leverage your analytical skills and technical expertise to transform data into strategic insights and create robust BI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop dashboards and reports, and ensure data integrity and accuracy. This role will plan, execute, lead, and participate in multiple applicable cross-functional projects and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable analytical tasks.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards and reports, using NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW).
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden insights and opportunities for optimization.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of BI solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, data analysis techniques, and BI best practices.
- Lead and support projects as needed to accomplish identified goals.
- Follow and adhere to change management processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or BI Developer.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience with SQL, Python, and BI tools (such as Tableau or Power BI).
- Ability to management multiple priorities, multi-task across projects, and effectively prioritize.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A motivated self-starter with capability to operate on their own with limited oversight.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas in a simple and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Capability to help deliver quality business solutions within restricted timelines while appropriately communicating/escalating risks, issues, or constraints as necessary to business and/or IT management.
- Ability to travel across the U.S. requiring 10% for standard work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with statistical analysis and modeling.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as R.
- Experience in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse or NetSuite Analytics Warehouse
- Knowledge of database management and data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of business processes and industry standards.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and regulatory compliance standards.
- Experience in the energy industry.
