Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with extensive experience in the Force.com platform, specializing in Service Cloud or Gov Cloud implementations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, customization, and integration, as well as hands-on experience in Apex programming, Lightning Web Components, and data migration processes. You will work closely with technical managers, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement robust technical solutions, driving the success of Salesforce-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Salesforce Administration activities, including user management, security settings, and custom objects. (Salesforce Admin certification is a plus).
  • Design and develop CRM Workflows, custom solutions, and Flow/process automation to meet specific business requirements.
  • Apply Apex programming, including Visualforce pages, Apex triggers, Flexi Pages, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to build customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define requirements and implement scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Utilize Salesforce configurations (no-code solutions like Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules) to streamline operations.
  • Integrate Salesforce with cloud-based and on-premises applications using REST APIs and custom APIs for seamless data flow.
  • Conduct data mapping, migration, and DML operations using tools like SOQL, SOSL, and Data Loader.
  • Implement core web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery) and manage integrations with downstream/upstream systems using REST, JSON, and XML.
  • Develop and maintain Batch Apex and Schedule Apex jobs for data processing.
  • Ensure the end-to-end management of Salesforce programs, including data migrations, system integrations, and the use of AppExchange products.
  • Define, communicate, and manage technical change management (release processes) for Salesforce projects.
  • Assess and provide secure, high-performance technical solutions that align with business goals and Salesforce best practices.
  • Support SFDX development, branch management, and CI/CD deployment activities via Azure DevOps.
  • Identify potential risks and technical issues, proactively addressing them to prevent delays or technical roadblocks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working on the Force.com platform, utilizing out-of-the-box functionalities and customizing the application using Apex coding and configurations.
  • 4+ years of programming experience with Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Apex, HTML5, and JavaScript.
  • 5+ years of experience with Service Cloud or Gov Cloud.
  • 3+ years of Apex API Integration experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Migration tools and techniques, including SOQL, SOSL, DML operations, and Data Loader.
  • Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth) and integration with 3rd-party applications.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure DevOps or other DevOps tools for CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Proven success in Batch Apex and Schedule Apex development.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer certification (nice to have).

Additional Experience (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with government processes and compliance procedures, particularly within a Salesforce framework.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Gov Plus Cloud.
  • Experience with technical risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with AppExchange products and Salesforce integrations with third-party applications.
