They are seeking a Supply Chain Director who is looking to grow within an organization and who will work alongside the Senior VP of Operations.

Job Details



Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, from procurement of raw materials to distribution of the final product.
2. Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives.
3. Ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products by optimizing operations and managing logistics.
4. Collaborate with various departments such as procurement, production, quality assurance, and sales to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain process.
5. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance through data analysis and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
6. Develop and implement risk management protocols to address supply chain vulnerabilities.
7. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
8. Implement new technologies to increase efficiency and performance of the supply chain.
9. Ensure all supply chain activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
10. Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree would be a plus.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a supply chain management role within the manufacturing sector.
3. Proven experience in materials management and an in-depth understanding of supply chain operations.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
6. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
7. Proficiency in supply chain management software and other related IT systems.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
9. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
10. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to supply chain management in the finance industry.
