Principle Salesforce Architect

You will be responsible for providing architectural mentorship and oversight for the Salesforce platform, including its supporting applications with a deep understanding of technology capabilities and comparative industry trends. You will incorporate a strong consultant-oriented approach and work cross functionally with both technical and nontechnical teams, including business development, product management, software engineering, cybersecurity and departmental executives to drive tangible results. You will have the opportunity to present designs and ideas to an Architecture Review Board and to Technology and Business senior management. Primary responsibilities include
  • Work with Senior level engineers, architects and platform owner to set the Salesforce platform's technical direction and strategic objectives.
  • Align efforts with central architecture function to influence technical standards and progress enterprise objectives.
  • Map business requirements to Salesforce capabilities and decide when and which solutions (custom config or custom dev), and/or products, are necessary.
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
  • Create detailed design documents, including system context diagrams, conceptual overviews, design decisions/considerations, risk mitigation strategies, and other artifacts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and administrators, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
  • 8 -10 years overall Solutions Architecture experience
  • 5+ years in Salesforce Architecture roles, with progressive responsibility
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications, including Certified Application Architect, Certified System Architect, or similar.
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries, with a focus on security and resiliency.
  • Experience architecting solutions on Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Experience Cloud, and Omnistudio
  • Proficiency with APEX, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, Sharing/Visibility Rules, and Performance/Scaling
  • Proven track record of creating detailed options analysis, solution design documents, and presenting/defending approaches in senior level boards/forums
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery of large enterprise Salesforce implementations
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and inspire development teams.
  • Experience designing Salesforce integrations with different systems utilizing Web services (REST or SOAP) and middleware (i.e. Mulesoft).
  • Experience working with DevOps tools such as Copado, Github, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc...
