Sr. Solution Architect

We are seeking a senior solution architect who is a seasoned professional with great communication skills.

Location: San Francisco, CA.

Duration: 1 year+ contract role

Hybrid: 1 day per week in office + remote during PST hours. If the candidate is not in the San Francisco area, remote work can be accommodated.

Job Description:

1. Required:

1. Overall 10+ years of experience in Technology with 3+ years of experience in Microservices (Java / Spring Boot)

2. Any NoSQL DB (Mongo, Cassandra, or equivalent)

3. RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL or equivalent)

4. Cloud (Azure, Google Cloud Platform or AWS)

5. 1+ year(s) of experience in Kafka event processing

6. Heavy volume of data processing involving Spark, Scala or Python skillset in Data Platform technologies like Databricks or equivalent.

2. Architectural visionary mindset with broad understanding of business, quickly learn / grasp details, deep understanding in technologies and ability to get into the code as & when needed.

3. Sound knowledge in Architectural Patterns, best practices and Non-Functional Requirements

4. Ability to write production quality code, do proof of concepts as need be.

5. Retail Industry background, Digital / e-commerce (ATG or equivalent) with shopping, content management, checkout related knowledge is highly preferred.

6. Preferred: Familiar with ML and AI technologies / skillset.

7. Good communications (verbal and written), good attitude, commitment, team player, ownership, proactiveness, dynamic nature.

8. As the technology landscape is changing so rapidly, ability / openness to learn or pick-up new technology and deliver results is preferred.
