Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the Virginia Retirement System in documenting requirements for a procurement and contract management system. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This hybrid role requires onsite presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the remaining days remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to identify opportunities for leveraging technology to align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document new system requirements.
  • Utilize structured analysis techniques to document requirements and processes.
  • Analyze system changes to assess impacts and develop strategies for implementation.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong knowledge of business systems analysis and design techniques.
  • Understanding of procurement processes and contract management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with web-based systems and IT security standards.
