As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, integration, upgrades, and maintenance for all networked and locally attached computing equipment. You will be the go-to person for repairing, replacing, and creatively solving hardware and software issues for all IT equipment supporting a core and isolated environment of specialized manufacturing and engineering equipment.

Your Impact:

As an IT Support Specialist, you will have a direct impact on the productivity and success of our manufacturing and engineering operations. You will be responsible for:

Providing technical support, troubleshooting, integration, upgrades, and maintenance for all networked and locally attached computing equipment
Unpacking and inventorying equipment shipped to site
Repairing, replacing, and creatively solving hardware and software issues for all IT equipment supporting a core and isolated environment of specialized manufacturing and engineering equipment
Working closely with IT management and programs to determine support requirements, priorities, and support needs
Collaborating with the Regional Manager to ensure security guidelines, computing standards, and best practices are being followed
Providing on-call support on a limited basis

Basic Qualifications

Must be and/or have:
Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance
Work full-time during core business hours and support after-hour projects, outages, or migrations as necessary
Outstanding work ethic
Customer focused and proactive
Capable of supporting multiple tasks and customers with competing deadlines concurrently
Basic experience working with desktop hardware and software installation/replacement/troubleshooting
Basic experience supporting configuration of computers
Basic experience troubleshooting network equipment
Experience using backup and imaging software
Ability to create documentation, processes and procedures to ensure risk reduction
Experience with computer patching and updates
Experience installing operating systems and imaging computers

Desired skills

Understanding of EIT processes, procedures, and policies
Experience installing, supporting and using various Windows Operating systems
Experience installing, supporting and using Office 365
Working knowledge of Service Central, CATS, JITA and other IT tools
Experience with data protection, backups and data recovery tools
Experience working in manufacturing clean room environments

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $67,400 - $129,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,600 - $146,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
