Title: Senior SAP ISU ABAP Development Analyst

Location: Wall, NJ

Duration: 12 Months Plus Contract

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of SAP IS-U Billing, including custom billing logic and enhancements to handle complex billing scenarios.
• Involvement in SAP S/4HANA migration projects, with a deep understanding of code remediation and optimization for the S/4HANA environment.
• Knowledge of integration with OpenText or other document management systems for utility customer correspondence and billing.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP services like SAP Cloud Integration, SAP Fiori Cloud, API Management, and SAP Event Mesh
• Exposure to third-party collection agencies integration and the handling of account statuses within IS-U (e.g., partial payments, payment plans, delinquent accounts).
• Knowledge of SAP FICA processes, including financial integration with customer management and collections.

Qualifications

• 10 years+ experience in SAP ABAP development with at least 3+ years focusing on SAP IS-U and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Expertise in ABAP/4, ABAP Objects, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience in IS-U modules (Billing, Device Management, FICA, Work Management).
• Proficiency with S/4HANA technologies such as CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Deep understanding of SAP Forms technologies like Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
• Experience in SAP Workflow, BADI, User Exits, and custom enhancements.
• Experience in designing and building Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP billing, and invoicing and other communication related forms.
• Strong skills in data migration using LSMW, BDC, and IDocs for IS-U and S/4HANA projects.
• Understanding of Fiori Apps and the SAP UI5 framework for developing user-friendly interfaces.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently in a fast-paced utility environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with functional teams, stakeholders, and end users.
• Prior experience working in the utilities sector, particularly in energy, water, or gas utilities.
• Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), developing and integrating cloud-based solutions on SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA using OData services, RESTful APIs to extend and enhance the core system capabilities.
