Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Software Engineer with Systems Engineering familiarity with the Department of Defense. Individuals will be supporting the development, documentation, design, development, testing and fielding of next generation Directed Energy High Power Microwave Systems.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Develop and deploy experimental system
  • Integrate front-end and back-end code for Directed Energy Weapons
  • Investigate, Fix, and Deploy critical software issues and features

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related Field from an accredited university with 2 years of experience
  • Strong coding experience in Java, C, or C++ languages and implementing change to existing code base
  • Experience in the development of test plans, procedures, and schedules, conducting tests, and generating reports detailing laboratory and field tests/demonstrations
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • MS in Computer Science or related Field
  • Experience with Software Configuration Management, and Review Boards related to Software Safety Reviews, Weapon Systems Explosives Safety Review Board (WSERB), Software Systems Safety Review Panel (SSTRP), Fuze and Initiation System Technical Review Panel (FISTRP)
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense Systems Engineering process and documentation to include but not limited to the creation and review of documents such as Systems Engineering Plans, System Design Documents, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, etc.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development framework and tooling
  • Experience with systems analysis, technical documentation, maintenance, repair, operation, and support.
  • Current Secret Clearance

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
