Job Summary:
As a Redis Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Redis databases. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security of our data storage systems while collaborating with development teams to meet their data management needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and manage Redis servers in production and development environments.
  • Monitor Redis performance and perform tuning to optimize database operations.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Redis performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize Redis data structures and queries.
  • Maintain documentation for Redis configuration, procedures, and best practices.
  • Implement security measures to protect Redis databases and data.
  • Stay updated with the latest Redis features and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Redis Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Redis data structures, commands, and configurations.
  • Experience with Redis clustering and high availability setups.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools.
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for Redis databases.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
