As a Security Specialist III: Contractor Special Security Representative (CSSR) (Deployable), you will support all facets of SNC's Security Program to include personnel security, document control, DD254 review and preparation, visitor access and control, physical security, and supporting security investigations. You will also have the opportunity to expand your security knowledge across a wide range of security disciplines and participate in internal security working groups and special project initiatives.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing duties as a member of a deployed Contractor Special Security Representative (CSSR) team for a set of Tactical Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (T-SCIF) Aircraft.
  • Document Control, Physical Security (PHYSEC), Program Security, Communication Security (COMSEC), Information Assurance (IA), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), and Force Protection (FORCEPRO).
  • Other Security duties as required to support the forward deployed location and mission.

Must Haves:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 4+ years in Security, Military or administrative fields
  • Higher education in a related field may substitute for 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong verbal and electronic communication skills
  • General understanding of security regulations and best practices
  • An active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance required
  • Completion of the Special Security Officer Course (prior to assumption of CSSR duties)
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a current passport and appropriate foreign visas as required.
  • Must be able to be medically cleared by the US Military for deployment to forward deployed locations.
  • Must be willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 90/90 or 90/45 rotation
  • Must be willing to deploy to hazardous overseas locations, and support temporary operating locations as required.

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of 32 CFR 117 - National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM)
  • Knowledge of DoDM 5105.21 - Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Administrative Security Manual
  • Knowledge of AR 380-28 - Army Sensitive Compartmented Information Security Program
  • Current certification as CSSO/SSO
  • DISS/NISS experience
  • SIMS Software experience
  • DoD 8570 compliant IAT II: Current Security+
  • Previous experience with access control/visit control/badge management systems and software
  • Military or Defense Contractor experience
  • COMSEC Hand Receipt Holder or Local Element experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret with SCI eligibility

This position requires current/active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use.
