Senior Business Analyst / Scrum Master (Remote)

Position Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the State Program Portal project at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). This remote position requires collaboration with various teams to assess business needs, create effective solutions aligned with client objectives, and help estimate project costs. You will serve as a vital link between clients and technical teams, ensuring that all solutions meet both technical and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and analyze business needs.
- Design solutions that align with client objectives and project goals.
- Estimate project costs and ensure alignment with budget constraints.
- Create detailed documentation, including business and functional requirements, use cases, and system specifications.
- Utilize tools like Jira and Confluence to manage workflows and project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and ensure timelines are adhered to.
- Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.
- Ensure solutions are compatible with both technical and business requirements.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with relevant development technologies, including Appian and Salesforce.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Bachelor s Degree in a related field, such as: Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, and Engineering.
Certifications preferred: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification in Business Analysis (CBA), Agile and Scrum certifications- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner, or Project Management Professional (PMP).
