Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking a Technical Subject Matter Expert to join the Team!

Conducts Computer Based Training-Digital Training Instruction (CBT-DTI) to support multiple Mission Command Learning Environment Classrooms. Uses approved standards, documents, templates, technology assets, and workflow systems/processes.

Provide initial and sustainment MC Digital Training Instruction to Programs of Instruction (POI), Tenant Units, and Supported Non-Tenant Units that train at the MCoE. Conduct and support integrated and immersive tactical (training) exercises to the Brigade level using available Live, Virtual, Constructive- Gaming (LVC-G) systems. Conduct and support integrated and immersive tactical (training) exercises to the Brigade level utilizing current and/or future Command and Control (C2), Emerging Requirements (ER) systems, Next Generation Constructive Systems, Synthetic Training Environment (STE), both Mission

Command (MC) and/or Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) client and server application systems and/or their replacement(s).

Specific Responsibilities

• Provide training units with a robust, dynamic simulation environment utilizing Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) hardware and software configured to the specifications provided by the Technical Support Team Manager.
• Interpret simulation plans in order to install and configure hardware and software in a TCP/IP network environment on systems running Microsoft Windows and RedHat Linux operating systems.

• Must have recent, relevant, extensive work experience in the Clarke Simulations Center, Ft. Moore
• At least 10 years experience in the configuration and operation of RedHat Enterprise Linux (versions 6 & above) workstation and server and Microsoft Windows (7 & higher) workstation and server operating systems in a TCP/IP network environment.
• Emphasis on Linux setup and operations.
• Must be a disciplined worker capable of meeting short suspense working in, around, and with an active duty Military personnel
• Must be able to support shifts that occur outside normal working hours to support 24/7 operations during exercise events that may be in excess of 40 hours per week

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Work will be performed at an active Military Installation
• Familiarity with CAC card procedures; existing CAC holder preferred
