Mechanical Engineer Automation Design
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in automation design to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing mechanical systems, with a focus on automation solutions and hands-on experience with SolidWorks or Creo. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement automated systems for manufacturing processes, ensuring increased efficiency, quality, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation systems tailored to specific manufacturing needs.
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks or Creo.
- Work closely with electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of mechanical components to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct design reviews, assessments, and modifications as needed to improve efficiency.
- Document and maintain project specifications, drawings, and manuals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in automation design within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo for 3D modeling and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machine design, and automation equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and innovation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in a wide range of industries, excluding automotive giants like GM, Ford, and Stellantis.
- Hands-on experience with robotic systems and automated machinery.
