Senior Associate Actuary

About the job

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Associate Actuary to join our Personal Lines Pricing team. This role involves working on critical business problems by collaborating with actuaries and other teams across the organization. If you have a background in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance, with credentials in ACAS or FCAS, this could be the opportunity for you to apply your skills and make a real impact.

What youll be doing:

  • Conduct pricing studies to evaluate the profitability of Auto and Homeowners insurance products
  • Present findings and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team
  • Analyze rating variables and recommend pricing adjustments
  • Stay up-to-date on competitor pricing and product developments
  • Partner with Predictive Analytics and Marketing teams on specialized projects
  • Analyze usage-based insurance (UBI) data and make pricing recommendations
  • Perform trend analysis to understand claim frequency and severity changes
  • Evaluate the impact of emerging technologies on insurance claims

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in P&C actuarial roles
  • ACAS or FCAS credential
  • Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, hybrid work environment
