Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with accounting, finance, and operations teams to facilitate the monthly closing process.
- Assist in implementing company objectives alongside the operations division.
- Prepare and post general journal entries while ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Address accounting inquiries by conducting thorough research and data analysis.
- Contribute to the enhancement of accounting processes by suggesting necessary improvements.
- Generate and evaluate accrual-based financial statements, including trend and budget variance analysis.
- Maintain detailed reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts, such as bank accounts.
- Manage special projects and ad hoc analyses as required.
- Perform additional duties to support team objectives as needed.
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude and effective problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
