  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician in Detroit, MI. The Medical Laboratory Technician would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Medical Laboratory Technician Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $36.00 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Medical Laboratory Technician Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is Monday Friday either 10:00 am 6:30 pm or 6:00 pm 2:30 am

Medical Laboratory Technician Responsibilities

  • Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader and/or supervisor, and according to defined protocols, performs select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens, involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems.
  • May perform phlebotomy as needed
  • Make phone calls
  • Perform clerical and customer service duties

Medical Laboratory Technician Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science
  • Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA)
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Medical Laboratory Technician Preferred Qualifications

  • SunQuest and Epic experience
