Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Project/Program Manager for a right to hire assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in Hyderabad, India.

Responsibilities :
The Risk Analytics and Reporting (RAR) Project/Program Manager is responsible for leading the execution and delivery of initiatives and projects across RAR program. Candidate must be capable of communicating to executives in both formal and informal scenarios. Effectively call out and manage program/portfolio level issues, risks, and dependencies. Effectively align project timelines, strategy, and objectives to support the program. As a senior member in the RAR team this role requires the ability to lead, coach, and mentor. Role reports to Head and Director of Risk Analytics and Reporting based in Tampa, Florida. While the scope of the role covers the entire RAR program the role will be in Hyderabad to focus support on Data Governance RAR team and a key program partner, Snowflake CLAW team, both located in Hyderabad.
  • Understand the firm processes and methodologies for delivering initiatives/projects and ensure adherence to these methodologies, including Risk PMO governance framework.
  • Ability to create program management tracking converting Jira level details and/ or team communication styles to business management executive level task tacking with target date assignment.
  • Support RAR team in the definition and maintenance of the Program plan including key initiatives/ projects deliverables, tasks, due dates and status updates are maintained.
  • Support program status update reporting for executive level updates (e.g. weekly internal management report).
  • Ensure delivered solutions/products meet defined business requirements and are of high quality.
  • Report on projects progress, including issues and risks to partners and management.
  • Track cost, schedules, and performance against established project/program achievements; reporting the status to management team members on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for initiative/project planning and scope prioritization, successfully plan and supervise multiple RAR key initiatives and projects encompassing Business and IT
  • Support RAR team and actively collaborate with partners across Business and IT to meet the desired objectives.
  • Understand and translate cross-functional dependencies into useful plans. Track and report all interdependencies between multiple initiatives and projects.
  • Timely resolution of conflicts and issues. Negotiates the scope and approach, and acts as liaison between appropriate members.
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures and supervising controls, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Accurately documenting the project's/ initiatives' creation, development, and execution.
  • Overseeing the project status and ensuring team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding company standards.
  • Project Risk management
  • Resource allocation discussion with partners, conflict resolution and team coordination.
  • Lead project roadmap creation. Participate and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Ability to work afternoon shift supporting US until noon.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Quick learner and motivated.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of proven experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years proven experience in Infrastructure and/or Cyber Security & Technology Risk
  • Excellent skills with MS Office and Project Management tools
Preferred Skills:
  • Masters preferred and/or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management Certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in handling IT Security related programs / projects is preferred.
  • Experience with SharePoint, PowerBI, IBM BPM technologies is a plus.
