Position Title: Systems Administrator

Location: Hybrid Schedule- Brentwood, TN. Ideal candidate will live in the greater Nashville area.

Who we are: Psychiatric Medical Care (PMC) is one of the largest mental health management companies within rural hospitals across the United States. We currently partner with more than 250 facilities in 35 states.

Systems Administrator: The Systems Administrator is a cross-functional IT role that is responsible for maintaining the function of all IT Systems, responding to escalated end-user support requests, and working with IT management to expand the capability and performance of the IT Systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support of PMC’s IT infrastructure through regular maintenance, deployment of new technologies, and upgrades in a multi-site environment.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for related IT Systems, their configurations, and procedures for maintaining them.
  • Address new and changing business requirements with IT Management and suggest courses of action to meet those requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain administrative access of business critical and sensitive systems. Perform regular audits to maintain security compliance.
  • Participant in departmental projects. Maintain IT System operation procedures, contingency plans, standards, and guidelines.
  • Provide Tier 3 escalated end-user support and assist in problem analysis.
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure tenants.
  • Provide project oversite and report to IT Director, ensuring all projects are being delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify and delegate resource allocation across IT Team as the needs of that team change.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with external vendors.
  • Develop and enforce IT polices to comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the IT Team and regularly monitor team performance.
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvement of IT Team resources to senior leadership to ensure continued effectiveness of IT resources.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT system administrator or similar role.
  • Proven experience in healthcare IT is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Azure tools (VMs, App Services, VNets, etc.)
  • Extensive Experience with Microsoft Intune
  • Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps or other CI/CD tools
  • Basic to intermediate SQL experience for database management and querying
  • Strong understanding of system administration for various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.)
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
  • Familiarity with healthcare-specific software (e.g., EHR systems, patient management software)
  • Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL processes
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance (HIPAA, SOC2, NIST CSF)
  • Experience managing software development projects
