- Contract Period: 12 months + contract opportunity
- Remote Work Options: This is a fully on-site role, 5 days/week in the office required.
- Bill Rate: USD. 65 on W2 or 75 C2C
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in MuleSoft integration to join our dynamic team. This role requires in-depth experience with AWS cloud services, infrastructure management, and hands-on expertise with MuleSoft for API and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure while seamlessly integrating various systems using MuleSoft.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Architect, design, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or other automation frameworks.
- Optimize and monitor cloud resources, ensuring cost efficiency and performance.
- Manage AWS services including EC2, RDS, Lambda, VPC, S3, and others.
- Provide guidance on best practices for cloud architecture, security, and disaster recovery.
MuleSoft Integration:
- Design and develop APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
- Build, test, and deploy MuleSoft solutions for seamless system integration between on-premise and cloud-based environments.
- Maintain and support MuleSoft APIs, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure robust infrastructure and integration solutions.
- Provide technical support for cloud infrastructure and API issues.
- Automate operational processes and ensure continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement AWS security best practices and enforce compliance policies.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to safeguard the infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and API issues, providing timely resolutions.
Qualifications and Key Skillset for this Role
Experience:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working with the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, etc.).
- Proven track record of developing and managing APIs and integrations using MuleSoft.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Solid knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Technical Skills:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) or AWS DevOps Engineer certification preferred.
- Proficient in programming languages like Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with network architectures, firewalls, and security groups within AWS.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and best practices.
- Familiarity with integration patterns, including SOAP and microservices architectures.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
