Title: Network Engineer

Location: Chesterfield, MO (hybrid 2-3 days onsite)

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months+

Duties:

Client is looking to deploy 15 new sites before the EOY and is short of staff to assist in the integration, configuration and roll out.

In addition, the client has a voice network that is 70% on Cisco (remainder on Avaya) that will eventually move all over into TEAMS. Resource would be assisting in this integration of IP/VOIP migration work from an IP standpoint.

Furthermore this resource will be working network integration from their current PLC/Manufacturing plants to data centers. Resource will be handling Level 1, 2, and 3 escalations and assisting with any outage resolution that may occur.

In addition, client also has a number of cloud integration projects in flight, so any expose to AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform from a network integration standpoint would be beneficial.

Additional tasks and duties include (but not limited to)

  • -Will be liaison between his department and OT
  • -Incident response to ServiceNow trouble issues
  • -Wi-ISP configuration/coordination
  • - Identifying and prioritizing security risks in ICS and PLC environments
  • - Balancing security requirements with operational needs
  • - Making recommendations for security investments and improvements
  • -monitoring and analyzing network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents
  • - developing and implementing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • -collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering and IT to ensure a comprehensive approach to security
  • -replacing Riverbed infrastructure, may move to new platform, pain point here
  • -Overall 200+ assets (switch/routers) they will be supporting in response to direction from Global Network Manager
  • -Documentation, collaboration and communication is key

Skills:

Network Engineering/Configuration/Integration MUST (Cisco based)

ICS Security

Understanding of the Purdue Model (Zscaler)

General understanding of PLC frameworks

Basic Voice Integration (CUCM/Cisco IP knowledge)
