Job Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is a dynamic leader, adept problem solver, and forward-thinking innovator who drives change and fosters innovation. In this role, you will focus on analyzing and optimizing system interfaces and integrations, particularly between SAP ECC and SAP S/4 with other supporting applications as we transform our digital ERP systems. Your responsibilities will include ensuring seamless data migration, enhancing system interoperability, and optimizing workflows to support our digital transformation initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborates with LAM Global Information Systems (GIS) teams to understand and support their operational requirements, developing and integrating interface solutions from SAP ECC to SAP S/4.
Ability to connect multiple operations domains (Planning, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics) and their interdependencies in solution design, build & test phases
Collaborate with the BU & GIS in leveraging various Operations Planning & Execution systems (SAP ECC, Custom applications in SAP ECC, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, BI/Dashboards, etc.) to enable the organization's future-state business capabilities
Tracking and driving tasks to closure and escalate as required
Skills Required:
Demonstrated experience writing software requirements and test specifications
Ability to understand business functionality and translate into business use cases
Strong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and system architecture standards
Experience with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies, and ability to deliver on responsibilities during various project phases including:
o Planning (Blueprint and Spec)
o Designing (Writing Specs and prototyping)
o Test Plans (Unit Testing and User acceptance testing)
o Training/Documentation (Roll-out)
o Cut-over Project Closure (Post-Mortem)
Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
Demonstrated cross functional dependencies expertise
Must be able to demonstrate the skills and ability to build effective and productive relationships within and outside the immediate team
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years overall SAP experience with 3+ years of experience with MM, PP, SD (VC)
Plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to deploy capabilities
Have led in at least one end-to-end project, that included: Analysis, design, configuration, development build, test, and deployment, including training and data conversion
Strong problem solving and analytical/critical thinking skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or with limited direction
Additional Qualifications:
Previous Experience with SAP S/4
Conversion experience from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 and other applications a plus.
