Plastic Injection Molding Buyer

Wirthwein Fountain Inn, LLC. is hiring a Plastic Injection Molding Buyer with potential to growth to Purchasing Manager.

Function of the position:

Execution of procurement processes around the location for various procurement goods (such as auxiliary and operating materials, C-parts and general requirements, services, location-related small investments) as well as scheduling of series material

Tasks and authority of the Position :

• Carrying out procurement processes for various procurement goods (such as capital goods, raw materials, purchased parts) in coordination with the lead buyer
  
  
  

1.1. Carry out inquiries for customer projects upon request and in coordination with the lead buyer

1.2. Compare prices and prepare purchasing decisions in coordination with the lead buyer

1.3. Maintenance of master data in SAP or similar

1.4. Check invoices for price and/or quantity discrepancies

1.5. Determine purchasing metrics

1.6. Create supplier assessments

1.7. Order procurement goods after consultation according to the business distribution plan

• Support the lead buyer in carrying out purchasing projects in the respective location
  
  
  

2.1. Order sample material upon request and in coordination with the lead buyer

• Carrying out procurement processes for various procurement goods required by the plant (such as auxiliary and operating materials, services)
  
  
  

3.1. Process purchase requisitions

3.2. Inquire about factory scope

3.3. Create offer comparisons

3.4. Prepare purchasing decisions by creating evaluations and ROI calculations

3.5. Negotiate factory scope and reach price agreements

3.6. Order procurement goods according to the business distribution plan

3.7. Show cost reduction potential

• Disposition of series material for factory requirements
  
  
  

4.1. Arrange series material

4.2. Monitor delivery dates and maintain order confirmations

4.3. check bills

4.4. Participate in the monthly closing

4.5. Process complaints

4.6. Identify new suppliers

Requirements:

• At least 5 years SAP experience required
• At least 10 years experience in Purchasing
