We are seeking a talented business and program leader to join our Urology Project Management Organization (PMO). This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Program Manager to lead Sustaining Portfolio activities within the Urology Division for two franchises. In this role, you will guide a global, cross-functional team to identify, prioritize, and execute projects that support our commercial devices, while also leading individual projects as needed. With high-level organizational visibility, this role is critical to ensuring business continuity. We are looking for an experienced professional with proven expertise in medical device project management and global, cross-functional leadership.

Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Lead Project Management Organization efforts for Sustaining Functional Alignment teams across two franchises, utilizing divisional processes and tools.
  • Develop and lead a team of Sustaining Project Managers responsible for executing projects that support the portfolio.
  • Influence global stakeholders, cross-functional managers, and teams to develop strategies, drive alignment, and deliver results while fostering team ownership and commitment to portfolio and project plans.
  • Collaborate with various functions, regions, and business resources to achieve portfolio objectives, including resource identification, budget management, timeline development, and project prioritization.
  • Communicate project progress and status to global cross-functional leadership teams, including Sustaining and Franchise Leadership Teams.
  • Motivate cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, solve problems, resolve roadblocks, and implement solutions in challenging scenarios.
  • Prioritize, delegate, and manage tasks among projects and team members to drive portfolio or program execution and minimize risk.
  • Support the development, implementation, and revision of detailed project plans, including deliverable lists, risk management, and communication plans.
  • Lead teams to execute and deliver programs on time and within budget.
  • Assist with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ensuring all sustaining project requests and associated resources are accounted for.
  • Ensure adherence to Boston Scientific policies and practices.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering with 10+ years of work experience in product development, OR
  • Master's degree in science, engineering, or business with 7+ years of work experience in product development.
  • 7+ years of proven portfolio and project management experience.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated functional manager experience.
  • Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Emotional Intelligence, situational leadership, and the ability to manage by influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain a results-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality execution.
  • Ability to make data-driven business recommendations based on cross-functional team inputs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Experience in both new product development and sustaining activities.
  • Experience with single-use devices and capital systems.
  • Technical or engineering background.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
