Job Title: Oracle Cloud/EBS Implementation Specialist Wine & Beverages Industry

Job Summary:
As an Oracle Cloud/EBS Implementation Specialist, you will lead and manage the implementation of Oracle solutions, specifically designed for businesses in the wine, beverage, and distillery industries. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, configure Oracle Cloud/EBS applications, and ensure that the systems meet industry-specific needs such as production planning, quality control, inventory management, and compliance. Your deep understanding of Oracle solutions and the unique challenges in the wine and beverage industry will be critical to delivering successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Implementation:

    • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Cloud and E-Business Suite (EBS) modules, including Supply Chain, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Financials, tailored for the wine, beverages, and distillery industries.
    • Work closely with business users to gather requirements, analyze current processes, and design Oracle solutions that align with industry-specific needs.
    • Configure Oracle applications to handle industry requirements such as production scheduling, bottling and packaging, batch tracking, quality control, and compliance with regulations (e.g., TTB for alcohol production).
  • Industry-Specific Expertise:

    • Leverage deep knowledge of the wine, beverage, and distillery industries to implement Oracle Cloud/EBS features like fermentation tracking, yield management, excise tax calculations, and production cost accounting.
    • Ensure solutions support industry compliance, including regulations from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and other regulatory bodies relevant to the beverage and distillery sectors.
    • Implement Oracle Cloud/EBS modules to manage key business processes, such as raw material procurement, barrel and tank inventory management, distribution, and sales forecasting.
  • Integration & Optimization:

    • Design and implement integrations between Oracle Cloud/EBS and third-party systems specific to the wine and beverage industry, such as quality control software, warehouse management systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
    • Optimize business processes by aligning Oracle solutions with industry best practices, driving efficiency in supply chain management, production, inventory control, and distribution.
    • Provide technical leadership in integrating Oracle systems with external platforms for e-commerce, logistics, and customer engagement.
  • Training & Support:

    • Train end-users and key stakeholders on Oracle Cloud/EBS functionalities, ensuring they are well-versed in the systems and processes specific to the wine, beverage, and distillery industries.
    • Provide ongoing support for Oracle implementations, troubleshooting issues, resolving technical problems, and ensuring smooth operations post-implementation.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, finance, and IT, to ensure Oracle solutions meet the organization s needs and align with business objectives.
    • Work with Oracle technical teams to customize and enhance Oracle Cloud/EBS functionalities based on specific industry requirements.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Oracle solution implementation projects within the wine, beverage, and distillery industries.
  • Documentation & Compliance:

    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, process flows, functional specifications, and user manuals.
    • Ensure all implemented solutions comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and Oracle best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Oracle certifications (Oracle Cloud, EBS) are highly desirable.
  • 15+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite implementations, with specific expertise in the wine, beverage, and distillery industries.
  • Deep understanding of industry-specific processes, including production planning, inventory management, quality control, and regulatory compliance (e.g., TTB).
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Financials, and Inventory Management modules.
  • Proven experience in configuring and implementing Oracle solutions that address the unique needs of wine, beverage, and distillery companies.
  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams, with excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a hands-on approach to issue resolution.
  • Experience integrating Oracle systems with third-party applications and platforms common to the industry.
