Our client seeks a driven leader to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, grow outside sales, and position us as a leader in the manufacturing industry.

This role will use data-driven insights and market research to identify client needs, enhance brand recognition, and secure new business.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include revenue growth, margin achievement, customer acquisition, and expanding the client base through effective outreach and relationship-building.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop Marketing Strategy & Execute:

  • Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Performance's growth objectives

  • Manage integrated marketing campaigns (digital, content, and event marketing) to increase brand awareness and generate qualified leads

  • Utilize market research and data analytics to refine marketing efforts

2. Discover Client & Market Needs:

  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.

  • Leverage insights from data analysis to adjust marketing strategies and inform sales outreach efforts.

  • Provide actionable feedback to the Leadership on potential opportunities for service enhancements or new offerings based on market demands.

3. Grow Outside Sales & Net New Business:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive outside sales, focusing on securing new clients and expanding into untapped markets.

  • Set ambitious sales targets, regularly reviewing progress and adjusting strategies to ensure revenue and margin goals are met.

  • Lead business development initiatives to increase client acquisition and generate net new business across diverse market segments.

4. Drive Deal Flow Process:

  • Implement a structured sales process to guide the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure.

  • Ensure adherence to a disciplined sales pipeline, providing regular reports on pipeline status, deal velocity, and conversion rates.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Account Managers and HR staffing) to ensure effective handover between marketing and sales efforts.

5. Prospecting & Building Relationships:

  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients.

  • Develop and maintain a robust network of key decision-makers and influencers to facilitate the sales process.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between or client performance and clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a seamless client experience.

6. Brand Champion:

  • Professionally represent Performance's brand, ensuring all marketing and sales initiatives reflect the company's values and strategic vision.

  • Develop and oversee the creation of branded content, including marketing collateral, presentations, and case studies that support the sales process.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all platforms and channels.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in sales and marketing, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and build strong client relationships

  • Experience in promoting and selling service-based solutions

  • Proven track record in developing and executing data-driven marketing and sales strategies

  • Strong understanding of market research, data analysis, and CRM tools

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and drive results

  • Proficiency in digital marketing, including content creation and lead generation

Employment Type: Full-Time, Salary + Bonus (based on a pay-for-performance structure)

Position: requires 30-40% travel

Physical demands: Require computer work, standing, sitting in an office and manufacturing plant environment, walking manufacturing plant floor multiple times daily required
