  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: Warehouse Control System Developer

Location: Issaquah, WA (Onsite - 3 days per week)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Control System (WCS) Developer to join our development team at a Fortune 50 company, focusing on global eCommerce solutions. This role is perfect for a skilled developer who can lead design sessions, develop new features, and ensure high-quality deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop features for a global eCommerce website using IBM WebSphere/HCL Commerce Server (WCS).
  • Lead design sessions and code reviews for various projects.
  • Create and maintain technical design documents.
  • Provide accurate project estimates and execute unit and integration tests.
  • Implement best practices for software development and provide 3rd-level application support.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in WCS development with hands-on experience in modules like Order, Payment, and Shipping.
  • Proficiency in UI development using HTML, JavaScript, React, and CSS.
  • 6+ years of experience with databases (DB2, MS SQL, or Oracle).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented concepts and Java technologies (EJB, JMS, Web Services).

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with WCS versions 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, and 9.1.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Create High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and implement solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to team members.

Performance Metrics:

  • Adherence to engineering processes and coding standards.
  • Engagement with customer feedback and satisfaction levels.
