Position Overview:

As a SharePoint Administrator supporting FEMA s Enterprise Acquisition Support Services contract, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint platforms used for FEMA s acquisition and procurement activities. Your role will enhance collaboration, data accessibility, and process efficiency by ensuring FEMA stakeholders, program offices, and acquisition teams have access to critical documents, workflows, and reporting tools. You will support the accuracy and availability of content on FEMA's SharePoint sites to streamline operations, improve data sharing, and drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

SharePoint Site Management:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain FEMA's SharePoint sites used for acquisition lifecycle management, ensuring they are structured for ease of use and aligned with FEMA's mission requirements.
  • Maintain document libraries, workflows, and custom lists to facilitate acquisition-related documentation and processes, such as contract management, proposal evaluation, and market research.
  • Ensure that content, templates, and guidance documents are up-to-date, compliant with FEMA s policies, and accessible to internal teams.

Data Integration and Reporting Support:

  • Build, manage, and maintain data tracking tools and dashboards on SharePoint to support FEMA s acquisition data analytics and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and acquisition staff to integrate SharePoint with other systems for data validation, cleansing, and visualization.
  • Ensure that SharePoint solutions enable improved situational awareness and access to data for decision-making across FEMA s acquisition and procurement teams.

Training and Knowledge Management:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating content on SharePoint to support acquisition-related training, coaching, and awareness initiatives for FEMA personnel.
  • Manage FEMA s acquisition knowledge repositories by ensuring key materials, lessons learned, and best practices are easily accessible on SharePoint platforms.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to acquisition teams in using SharePoint for collaboration and documentation purposes.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure that SharePoint content and user access meet FEMA's security standards, including compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act for accessibility.
  • Manage permissions, access controls, and other security protocols to safeguard sensitive but unclassified information (SBU) and proprietary acquisition data.

User Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide ongoing technical support to FEMA acquisition and procurement teams, addressing user issues and providing training on SharePoint functionalities.
  • Coordinate with FEMA s IT and cybersecurity teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement necessary updates to maintain SharePoint site performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in administering and managing SharePoint sites, with a focus on federal acquisition processes and document management.
  • Familiarity with FEMA s acquisition lifecycle, federal regulations (FAR, HSAR), and compliance standards (Section 508).
  • Proficiency in configuring SharePoint workflows, libraries, and permissions management.
  • Experience in developing dashboards, data trackers, and custom SharePoint features for reporting and data visualization.
  • Ability to collaborate with acquisition professionals to support training, knowledge management, and policy updates.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, especially when handling sensitive acquisition-related data.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in SharePoint administration, with experience supporting federal government or acquisition projects.
  • Knowledge of FEMA, DHS, or similar federal agencies acquisition and procurement processes is preferred.

Location: This is a remote position.

Citizenship and Security Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to pass DHS Background Investigation.
