Social Media Manager

Los Angeles | Hybrid

Our client, a clean beauty cosmetic brand, is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to manage and grow their online presence across various social media platforms. This role is hybrid, with an expectation to work half the time from their Los Angeles office and the rest remotely. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the beauty or fashion industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and community growth
  • Create, curate, and manage content (including images, videos, and written copy) for all social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and product launches in alignment with marketing objectives and brand guidelines
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure their strategies remain innovative and effective
  • Engage with their online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and product development, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding
  • Manage influencer and brand partnership programs, identifying potential collaborators and overseeing outreach, negotiations, and campaign execution
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content and storytelling
  • Experience with social media advertising, including Facebook Ads Manager and other relevant platforms
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for beauty and a deep understanding of our client’s brand and mission

Key Experience

  • Video editing skills (capcut, final cut or similar)
  • Familiarity with Tribe Dynamics
  • Experience using Planoly or similar

Salary: $65K-$75K
