Looking for an Embedded firmware developer, with experience in the design, development of software for embedded systems to support new product for industrial laser application.

  • Candidate must be proficient with DSP design and coding for power distribution used for industrial laser systems.
  • Strong knowledge to work with FPGA s base system is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of driver developments utilizing C, C++, LabView, Assembly, and VHDL is required.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify software requirements to synchronize multi-layer processors system, using different communication protocols such as CAN Open, Ethernet and SPIE.
  • Candidate will work closely with the engineering team to lead the software developments for industrial laser applications.
  • Position is responsible for software developments of new products and support of existing products including Ladder logic, Delphi development environment and IEC 61131.
  • These products are a combination of power electronics, controls and electro-mechanical components used for industrial laser Systems.
  • Develop product at board, sub-system and test station systems.
  • Program with LabView, C/C++ and Assembly level programming languages in an embedded environment.
  • Understanding of the interaction between hardware and software at component, sub-system and system levels.
  • Read and understand circuit diagrams, to identify control signals and processor inputs.
  • Develop applications of analog and digital circuits at component level, part selection, and working with PCB designer
