Job Summary

Responsible for the management of maintenance projects contracted to 3rd party vendors and Air Methods 145 Repair Stations.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities Include The Following

  • Work with chosen vendors on quote approval, ordering parts/tooling and final invoice approval
  • Keep an accurate and up-to-date Project Status Dashboard
  • Statement of Work Preparation, Quote request and Capital expense approval.
  • Manage Pilot coordination for flight testing, aircraft arrival and departure, aircraft acceptance coordination, and records coordination.
  • Review and maintain major RepairIAlteration certification
  • Manages special projects as required and assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Regular scheduled attendance
  • Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling - 10%

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
  • 10 years Aviation field/shop experience, prefer applicable to assigned aircraft

Skills

  • Knowledge and compliance with FAR's, the Air Methods Operations Manual, and other required manuals Bulleted list, with commitment to aircraft airworthiness by conforming to standards set by the FAA and company policy.
  • Proven leadership, planning, organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrates high critical thinking and reasoning skills and strong attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment that requires ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

Computer Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Project for Project Gantt / Flow.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • A&P License and/or Repairman Certificate preferred

Pay Range

USD $85,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
