  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Developer Java_J2EE

Duration: 6 months. Contract To Hire (conversion can happen as early as 3 months).

Location: Onsite (Hybrid) in McLean, VA on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Schedule: Standard

Years of experience: 2+ (Prefer candidates between 3 to 4 years of experience)

Must Have Qualifications: Minimum 2 years (with a preference for 3 4) of hands on development experience. This is a back end position. The candidate must have experience with Java ver.8+, Postgres OR Sybase OR DB2, and Selenium OR Cucumber automation testing framework. Preference for Angular, Apigee, AutoSys OR Control-M experience, but it really is just a preference since this purely a backend role.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ year s of experience in Information Technology.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent working experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation and production support of Java/J2EE applications, Spring Framework (Spring Boot), Selenium/Cucumber (test automation), relational databases, SQL, AWS, web services (SOAP/REST), CI/CD frameworks, Apigee, Autosys/Shell scripting, Angular, Java Script, UNIX/Linux.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to analyze system functionality with customer and resolve production issues.
  • Experience applying Object Oriented Analysis and Design principles.
  • Practical experience designing and building enterprise and/or distributed systems.
  • Demonstrates ability to analytically address complex problems, process critical data, establish facts, and draw quality conclusions.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, some tight deadlines and with ambiguity on some projects.
  • Experience with systems and software architecture.
