Here, you'll do more than join something - you'll add something.Integration Center Technicians are responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining Apple IT Infrastructure in a 24/7 environment with rapidly shifting priorities while maintaining high availability of the infrastructure.

Description

As a successful Integration Center Technician, your performance objectives include a strong desire and capability to learn, grow, and develop new skills. Solid attention to detail and effective documentation skills are critical components of success in this position.ResponsibilitiesEmpower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of data center activities. Establish and enhance strong working relationships with various internal teams and external suppliers. Understand overall ticket management process. Perform power cycles, swap out failed components, handle storage media, and troubleshooting. Perform cable installations, hardware rack / stack installations, testing, and troubleshooting using standard data center processes. Physically assist in moving and racking equipment. Support deployment of on-site data center physical infrastructure including servers, NetDevices. Support parts/component replacement and physical hardware troubleshooting. Assist data center Inventory and Asset Management Team with shipping/receiving and inventory management to support high work volumes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in roles that include hands on technical support, help desk, logistics or technical training in computer engineering or a related IT field.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach and lift as required, on a continuous basis, with items that can weigh up to 75 lbs
  • Flexibility to work non-business hours (shifts) that may include weekends and/or holidays
  • Ability to travel up to 20% which may include international as well as domestic locations.

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of data center experience with a focus on server deployments and break fix.
  • Experience operating macOS, Windows, Linux
  • Experience running diagnostics, firmware updates, to resolve hardware/software issues
  • Experience installing in-cabinet, uplink and structured cabling solutions
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to take initiative with minimal direction
  • Superb communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and other departments
