Location: 50% Remote / 50% Onsite in Los Banos, CA (Expenses paid during travel)

Job Overview:

AST Corporation is seeking an experienced Oracle PPM Cloud Functional Lead with strong Public Sector expertise. This role requires hands-on experience in implementing Oracle PPM Cloud solutions, leading functional aspects of projects, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the functional implementation of Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Cloud, specifically in public sector environments.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand project requirements and design solutions tailored to meet business objectives.
  • Configure and implement Oracle PPM Cloud modules, including Project Financials, Project Costing, Grants Management, and Project Contracts.
  • Provide functional expertise and guidance in Oracle PPM Cloud best practices, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and improving business processes.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, functional design workshops, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and client stakeholders to ensure the solution aligns with business needs.
  • Train end-users and provide post-implementation support to ensure smooth transition and adoption.
  • Support data migration, validation, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Address project risks, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery of project milestones.
  • Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Oracle ERP with at least 5+ years focused on Oracle Cloud PPM.
  • Expertise in Public Sector implementations, specifically in Project Management and Grants Management modules.
  • Proven experience in configuring and implementing Oracle PPM Cloud solutions, including Project Costing, Project Billing, and Budgeting.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP and integrations with other financial systems.
  • Ability to lead client workshops, document requirements, and design end-to-end functional solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Ability to work on-site in Los Banos, CA, for 50% of the project duration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Cloud PPM certification.
  • Previous experience working with public sector organizations and understanding of their specific regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
