  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Senior UX Designer /Senior Content Designer (Ecommerce)

Location: Remote

As a Senior Content Designer in the shopping experiences space within Product Experience Design and Research (XDR), you'll collaborate with Designers, Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineers to craft compelling customer experiences. Your role is essential in shaping Best Buy s brand voice, defining human-centric content strategies, and advocating for continuous improvements.

Team Focus: The Shop team designs innovative solutions for our search, product list pages (PLP), and product detail pages (PDP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create solutions that align customer and business needs.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Estimate work effort using Agile methodology; track in Jira.
  • Provide insights into capabilities across digital channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Drive a strategic content vision throughout the customer journey.
  • Leverage research and data to support assertions and drive strategy.
  • Create clear, concise content that facilitates customer tasks.
  • Deliver artifacts that support design practices and consistent experiences.
  • Contribute to the content style guide and design system, promoting content standards.
  • Present solutions and strategies to stakeholders and leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Case studies showcasing storytelling and content design deliverables.
  • Bachelor s degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years as a Content Designer, UX Writer, or related role (8+ years in a related capacity).
  • Knowledge of Experience Design principles and deliverables.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts and decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Curious, collaborative, self-driven, and relationship focused.
  • 2+ years in e-commerce or large design environments.
  • Experience in envisioning end-to-end, multichannel experiences.
  • Ability to balance Agile environments with a holistic customer journey view.
  • Basic understanding of WCAG 2.1/508 accessibility standards.
