Summary

Under limited supervision, this individual is responsible for: Leading development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience. Responsible for managing, developing and implementing marketing, sales and other activities, as needed, to achieve the necessary business outcomes. Evaluating market, economic and competitive factors affecting product performance and demonstrates ability to perform fact based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights. Ability to work with advanced data models and analytics. Prioritizing new features, orchestrates and executes product development. Execute new product development initiatives as marketing or overall development lead across multifunctional team. Coaches others in less senior positions.

Additional Summary

In this role you will lead the development of core systems and features within the fdx platform that bridge the gap between merchants and shoppers delivering a shopping ecosystem, that creates a better experiences and value for shoppers while improving demand growth and unit economics for merchants. Candidates for this role are experts in stakeholder management, working alongside commercialization teams to achieve the necessary business outcomes. You will collaborate cross-functionality with engineering, design, data science, and analytics teams to deliver innovative scalable solutions to market that enhance the shopping experience. Retail or e-commerce experience is proffered. A background in consumer loyalty programs is a bonus.

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Develop data-driven product strategies that achieve strategic objectives, collaborating with cross-functional business stakeholders and technical partners to assess opportunities and define requirements.
  • Own the product roadmap, business case, prioritization and execution for demand capabilities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product discovery process to determine how to execute against the vision, what to build and how.
  • Lead agile scrum ceremonies for teams of engineers, designers, data analysts and scientists.
  • Drive execution and ensure the team delivers the desired business outcomes efficiently.
  • Identify, define and track key metrics to measure the success of launched products and create a feedback loop integrating qualitative and quantitative data for assessment of future opportunities and to drive continuous improvement.
  • Engage with market trends and conduct ongoing evaluations of comparable product offerings, identifying opportunities for refining the product strategy and improving the customer experience.
  • Define testing strategies and plans to ensure development of functionality that drives value for our customers.
  • Communicate plans and progress to key internal partners and executives, soliciting and incorporating feedback.

Skills/ Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple work streams with projects in various phases from ideation through delivery while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience leading product teams, engineers, and designers to define and launch new features with the ability to drive results and keep teams motivated and accountable.
  • Experience working in scrum/agile management methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills: ability to present new concepts to internal stakeholders and executives to promote and gain feedback on new products.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset: comfort moving forward with little guidance, ability to make strategic decisions and defending the decisions you make.
  • Strong analytical skills: comfort in defining the right metrics to measure how your team is impacting customers and the business; using this data to evolve the roadmap
  • Customer-obsessed - knowing your customer and empathizing with their pain points and needs

Domicile Information

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency in Product Marketing, Economics, Business, or related field.

Minimum Experience

Three to Four (3 - 4) years work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent. Knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis. Strong communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring & solving skills. Strong executive presence and human relations skills. Strong project management experience. A directly related Master’s Degree is equivalent to two (2) years experience. More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: Annual Range- $102,640 to $153,960
