Summary

As an Administrative Business Unit Team Member with the Office of Administrative Services, you will be responsible for processing purchase card requests following policies, procedures, procurement, and funding requirements. Maintaining an electronic or hard copy file of administrative records, comply with all dollar limits on purchases, purchase only authorized items and reconcile or dispute transactions upon receipt of statement. Provide excellent customer service with attention to detail.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-08, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level: Coordinating administrative and office procedures in a business setting and assisting with continuous process improvement initiatives; Working closely with customers and service providers to reconcile customer service concerns/issues; Reviewing purchase requests for completeness, determining the appropriate procurement method, or confirming/placing orders as needed and providing assistance in training to team members in ordering supplies/equipment and purchase card reconciliation.
