Job Overview:

The Salesforce Administrator and Application Integration Engineer (SFAAIE) will lead the ongoing development of our Salesforce Platform deployment and its integration into other company services. We are looking for a highly-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. We need someone who is hands-on and who is responsible for execution on day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce and other API-based service platforms.

This role works closely with subject matter experts from each department to identify, develop and deploy best practices integrating departmental solutions with cross-company assets. This role is part administrator, part technical project manager, and part solutions architect and part implementation engineer. This person must have exceptional resource management and prioritization skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Salesforce platform and possess the technical skills, knowledge, and experience required to support a rapidly changing environment.

This role reports to the SVP, Customer Success. This position will be located in our headquarters in Peachtree Corners, GA. office supporting Alogent employees in the US and abroad.

Responsibilities:
  • Supports and optimizes the Salesforce CRM environment to meet the needs of various departments. This includes but is not limited to: Improving the Sales team's opportunity & forecasting process, working with Sales Operations and Support to streamline and automate business processes within Salesforce, and modifying and improving existing processes in partnership with department SME's, improving and optimizing the integration of Salesforce into other company services, and helping to automate platforms and services to interoperate with Salesforce data.
  • Handles all administrative functions including user account maintenance, creating user, profiles, roles, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow rules, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and process builder
  • Automates processes using Salesforce best practice toolset including flow automation and process builder
  • End-to-end design and implementation of less complex Salesforce integrations; partner with outside developers/consultants for more complex projects and ongoing integration maintenance
  • Develops an understanding of the end users' needs and workflows. Be hands -on in helping troubleshoot any problems they might have. Enable end users to get the most out of Salesforce.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure the design and functionality of the platform is driving efficient productivity and value across the organization
  • Be creative in solving problems with out-of-the-box functionality before implementing custom development
  • Work with various internal teams to help integrate their solutions and workflows with corporate systems
  • Stays updated on new tools and capabilities as they become available through the Salesforce platform in order to educate stakeholders with intent of implementing where applicable
  • Thrives in a demanding environment while prioritizing multiple tasks driven by cross functional teams
  • Documents and maintains processes, policies, application configuration, training, and helps related material for users

Requirements:
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator and or integration engineer
  • com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified (or willing to become certified)
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Communities certifications preferred
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • Able to utilize all of the tools available, custom objects/fields, process builders, page layouts, workflow rules, external tool integrations, and overall UX
  • Hands on experience with Visual Force, APEX code and Flow preferred
  • Expertise with Salesforce customer communities and lightning process builder
  • Experience managing release/upgrade cycles for Salesforce
  • Strong data management abilities
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and be results-driven
  • Very strong work ethic and team player with a positive "do what it takes" attitude
