About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Engineer to join our Engineering Applications and Tools team. You'll play a pivotal role in transitioning our operations teams from AutoCAD Map 3D to Automated Utility Design (AUD), a cutting-edge graphic work design software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and training to users transitioning to AUD.
- Configure and customize AUD to meet our specific needs and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AUD with existing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AUD and other relevant software.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical distribution systems.
- In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD (Intermediate level or higher).
- Experience with GIS systems and their integration with AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Automated Utility Design or similar software is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with integrations between AutoCAD and business software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
