Akkodis is seeking a Container Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Pennington, NJ (Hybrid). Pay Details: $67.00 to $79.00 per hour

Container Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing solutions for migrating applications to container platforms, especially OpenShift.
- Collaborating with Development, Architecture, and Container Platform teams to analyze requirements and ensure seamless container onboarding.
- Configuring and managing Linux operating systems, including parameter tuning for optimized container performance.
- Developing and managing container images, ensuring they meet operational and security standards.
- Supporting the integration of cloud architecture with microservice development for containerized applications.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to container deployments and environments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of field experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with a master's degree.
- Expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and experience with Linux operating system configurations.
- Strong skills in cloud architecture integration with microservice development and container image development/configuration.
