HiFyve is hiring a Controls Technician in the food/beverage manufacturing industry in St. Paul, MN!

Salary: $35-$40/hr

Shift: 6pm - 6am, Sun-Tues + alternating Saturdays

Location: St. Paul, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure all equipment operates effectively and efficiently

Provide technical expertise to plant operations

Assist the Maintenance team in their technical development

Perform maintenance and repair services in multiple crafts

Operate equipment as needed

Lead and support continuous improvement projects

Work on assignments determined by the leadership team to ensure team success

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Minimum 7-10 years of industrial maintenance electrical experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, AC/DC drive systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, machining, and fabrication

Proficiency with multi-meters, circuit testers, power tools, micrometers, calipers, and other hand tools

Strong math skills

Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics

Problem-solving skills and teamwork ability

Adaptability to emerging technologies

Project initiation, management, and leadership skills

Available for 24/7 plant support as needed

Experience in advanced PLC, VFD, and Servo programming and troubleshooting

Proficiency in HMI programming and troubleshooting (e.g., RSView, Wonderware, PanelView)

Electrical code knowledge and network diagnostics troubleshooting

Ability to use ACAD software
