We are excited to grow our team with a full-time role for a Solution Consultant specializing in our solutions for Business Central.

Position Summary:

Join our team as a Solution Consultant, where you will be the vital link between Binary Stream's products and our valued partners and end-users. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you'll guide clients through the pre-sales phase, uncovering their needs, mapping requirements, and delivering impactful demonstrations. As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you'll bridge the gap between Partner SIs, End Users, and our internal team, continuously striving to master our Business Central solutions.

As the Solution Consultant, you will be responsible for:

Product Demos:

• Craft impactful and tailored product demos that precisely align with client needs.
• Dive deep into client requirements, conducting thorough analyses to gain a comprehensive understanding.
• Clearly convey how Binary Stream's solutions directly and effectively address specific business challenges.
• Emphasize the positive outcomes and ROI derived from implementing Binary Stream solutions.
• Collaborate with Partner Success Managers to support the sales process by delivering customized product demonstrations tailored to end customers.

Sales Cycle Advancement:

• Play a vital role in shaping Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure alignment with client requirements.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create, update, and enhance collateral materials.
• Work alongside the product development team to assist in prioritizing end customer-specific and product roadmap feature requirements, effectively conveying ideas internally.
• Align client business challenges seamlessly with Binary Stream solutions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Internal Product Development:

• Provide valuable insights on feature suitability, contributing to the enhancement of our products.
• Offer recommendations for additional use cases, driving innovation from within.

External Collaboration:

• Interact proactively with Microsoft partners and customers to capture emerging requirements and offer recommendations for product ideas, including new feature sets and enhancements.
• Participate actively in select trade shows and partner visits, some of which may involve international travel.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor s degree or diploma in business and/or Information Technology or a related field.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in technical sales, presales, business analysis or functional consulting, working within the ERP space, preferably D365 Business Central or Great Plains.
• Preferred: Financial accreditation such as CPA.

Technical Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of ERPs.
• Proficiency in documenting complex customer requirements.
• Proven ability to deliver compelling demos, especially in SMB or Enterprise settings.
• Preferred: Experience in nurturing relationships with Microsoft channel partners, System Integrators (SIs), and ISVs.
• Basic knowledge of relevant accounting principles and compliance requirements.
• Basic to intermediate working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, D365 Sales Hub).
• Proficiency in configuring demo environments.

Compensation and Benefits Package:

At Binary Stream, we know compensation is important to our people. To stay competitive with our pay and benefits, annually we collect and analyze industry benchmarking data from the technology sector across Canada. This data is used to regularly update our salary ranges.

OTE Range for new employees: 96,000 CAD - 135,000 CAD

Compensation Structure: This role comes with uncapped commission, where the pay range as On Target Earnings (OTE) is calculated as base salary + on-target incentives. To ensure a smooth transition, we offer guaranteed commission for the first six months.

Pay Range Insights: This OTE range signifies the minimum and maximum for a new hire in this role. The pay we offer a successful candidate will be determined by factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and experience. In exceptional cases, the compensation we offer may fall outside this range.
